As a consultant in the digital communications industry, Timothy Plumer, Jr. is a voice for streamlining workflow. With that voice, he helps the communication industry take full advantage of technologies that promise to make it cheaper and faster to produce communication. Whether it’s a PDF workflow, color management, digital printing, or variable data publishing, Tim helps customers to see those promises kept.
Tim has a long history in the field. He co-developed and led ImageSet Educational Services, the successful educational division at ImageSet, Inc. He worked directly for Adobe as a Business Development Manager for four years covering products as diverse as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat. Since leaving Adobe to work as a consultant to the industry, he joined with Working Words & Graphics to focus on PDF workflows for print, review and approval, and document archiving. Now he is on his own offering a wide range of consulting services. He brings a solid understanding of the ways digital solutions can allow the communications professional and knowledge worker to be more productive.
Plumer has spoken as a featured speaker at a variety of industry, education, and government events such as FOSE, Print 05, GraphExpo, Seybold Boston, AIIM On-Demand, the PINE Graphics Communications Day, and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) annual tradeshow. Additionally, he has written for or provided technical editing services for more than fifteen different titles covering a variety of topics in digital graphics, and he hosted both the Adobe Acrobat Training series Total Training for Adobe Acrobat 7.0 & 8 and Lynda.com Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional Essential Training and Adobe Captivate Essential Training. |

| Chad is a Financial Services and Insurance Solutions Engineer with Adobe located in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to Adobe, Chad has delivered enterprise software solutions as a Solutions Architect at companies including IBM, Oracle, and Netscape Technologies and spent over 10 years managing IT infrastructure at Ford Motor Company and Daimler Chrysler. He has completed various software certifications and has most recently focused on ACORD Insurance Data Standards. Chad received his MBA from University of Detroit and graduated from Wayne State University with a BS in Computer Science. |
